Job summary

Urban Ridge Supplies is seeking a Director of Insurance Advisory in Bahrain to lead the growth and delivery of its regional advisory practice across the GCC.

You will own the practice P&L, shape high-value offerings, originate engagements with boards and C-suite, and ensure delivery excellence through complex programs while building a scalable delivery model with local and offshore resources.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of relevant professional experience including management consulting or advisory work.
• At least 5 years in senior leadership roles (Director/Executive Director level).
• Strong insurance-sector expertise across general insurance, life, takaful, or related areas.
• Proven business development, originating and converting engagements.
• Senior stakeholder management with boards and C-suite exposure.
• Fluent business English; excellent presentation and proposal writing.
• Willingness to be based in Bahrain and travel across the GCC.

Responsibilities

• Define and implement advisory strategy, growth plan & P&L.
• Originate and convert advisory engagements with executive networks.
• Lead delivery excellence, budgets, milestones, risks, governance.
• Develop offerings across insurance strategy, transformation, regulatory advisory.
• Build high-performing teams, scalable delivery models.
• Ensure governance, confidentiality, data protection, quality controls.
