Job summary

The Corporate Institute in Manama, Bahrain, is seeking a Partner (tenured) / Director (experienced) in Risk Advisory for the GCC region—a leadership role for a seasoned risk consulting professional with current Big4 client-facing experience.

You will drive growth in Financial Services, lead large complex engagements, oversee 30+ professionals, and deliver board‑level presentations while shaping service offerings and building the practice across multiple countries.

Qualifications

• 18+ years in Internal Audit/GRC consulting (not technology).
• Majority in Risk Consulting with Big4 client-facing experience.
• 5+ years in a Big4 Director or above position.
• Financial Services experience – Retail, Investment Banking, Insurance.
• CIA and/or CISA must have.
• Multi-country experience is an advantage.

THE RISK CONSULTING PRACTICE COVERS:

• Corporate Governance Advisory
• Compliance Advisory
• Financial Risk Management
• Internal Audit
• Forensics
• Quality Assurance Review
• Process Review

THE ROLE:

• Support the growth of the Risk Consulting business in the region
• Take an active leadership role in growing Financial Services
• Lead large and complex projects with subject matter expertise
• Drive innovation, practice growth, and team development
• Manage 30+ subordinates and multiple engagements
• Business development – client targeting, sales pitches, proposal development

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
