Job summary

Reputed Company in Salmabad, Bahrain, seeks a Quantity Surveyor with 5-10 years of on-site experience to manage BOQs, cost control, and procurement for project needs.

The role requires a Civil Engineering degree, strong computer skills, and knowledge of 2D/3D drawings; Gulf-experience preferred. This is a full-time, on-site position for candidates under 40 years old.

Qualifications

• Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering with advanced knowledge of Computers.
• 5-10 years' experience as a quantity surveyor.
• Knowledge of 2D/3D drawings; Gulf-experienced candidates preferred.

Responsibilities

• Visit sites with project engineers/supervisors for measurement and understand customer requirements.
• Prepare Bill of Quantities and coordinate with drafting, procurement, costing and accounts for costs; establish sub-contractors/quotations.
• Prepare prequalification documents for tenders and post-tender requirements.
• Understand statutory/regulatory requirements and commercial documentation.
• Perform project invoicing and prepare/ analyze castings/BOQs; manage risk and cost control.
• Advise management on procurement strategy and cost savings.
• Identify, analyze, and develop responses to commercial risks and prepare final project accounts.

Duties and responsibilities

• Visit the sites/customers along with the project engineers/supervisors for measurement and understand the requirements of the customers.
• Preparation of Bill of Quantities, coordinate with drafting team, procurement, costing \& Accounts for direct and indirect costs; establishment of sub-contractors / quotations
• Preparing Prequalification Documents for Tenders, post-tender requirements(s)
