Job summary

The United Nations in Manama, Bahrain invites applications for a Partnerships Officer (NO-C). You will support UNCT strategic partnerships for SDG achievement and advise on the Partnership Strategy aligned with the Cooperation Framework.

You will assist inter-agency efforts on results, progress monitoring, and reporting on Joint Workplans, leveraging the UNINFO platform and contributing to the Annual Country Results Report.

Qualifications

• Provides substantive support for strategic planning for and coordination of UN Country Team (UNCT) strategic partnerships for SDG achievement.
• Advice on the development and implementation of the UN Partnership Strategy in alignment with and support of the UN Sustainable Development Cooperation Framework.
• Supports inter-agency efforts on results and progress monitoring and reporting on Joint Workplans of the Cooperation Framework and Joint Programmes, particularly through the UNINFO platform and contribution to Annual Country Results Report.

Within delegated authority, the Partnerships Officer will perform the following duties:

• 1. PROVIDES SUBSTANTIVE SUPPORT FOR STRATEGIC PLANNING FOR AND COORDINATION OF UN COUNTRY TEAM (UNCT) STRATEGIC PARTNERSHIPS FOR SDG ACHIEVEMENT.
