Job summary

Hitachi Energy Technologies W.L.L. in Manama, Bahrain, seeks a Project Management Engineering, Construction & Commissioning professional to oversee complex substation projects from inception to completion.

Qualifications

• Bahraini national.
• 14+ years in engineering, with 6–8 years in a lead role.
• Experience on major utility substation projects (GIS/AIS) in the region.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate project engineering activities, review deliverables, and monitor contractual scope and changes.
• Lead engineering reviews for GIS/AIS substations, including BOQ estimation and FAT coordination.
• Coordinate with civil/MEP disciplines and external customers for project schedules and document approvals.
• Prepare technical proposals, RFQs, and supplier offers; monitor ventilation, protection, and MV/LV systems.
