Job summary

Synthesis Trading W.L.L. in Bahrain seeks a results-driven business development and lead generation professional specializing in water treatment. You will engage potential clients, evaluate on-site water systems, and recommend RO, STP/ETP solutions and dosing equipment.

You will promote chemicals, prepare proposals, drive negotiations, and manage post-sale accounts while staying alert to market trends and maintaining strong relationships with clients.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering, environmental science, chemistry, or related field, with proven B2B sales experience in water treatment.
• Understanding of water chemistry, boilers, and wastewater treatment processes.
• Strong communication, presentation, negotiation and problem-solving abilities.
• Valid driver's license for site visits and client meetings.

Responsibilities

• Identify and approach potential clients across target sectors such as manufacturing, food and beverage, oil and gas, power, utilities, and municipal facilities.
• Conduct on-site water system evaluations, assess water quality issues, and recommend solutions like RO, STP, ETP, softeners, and dosing equipment.
• Promote and sell water treatment chemicals including coagulants, flocculants, antiscalants, biocides, disinfectants, and boiler/cooling water chemicals.
• Collaborate with internal engineering teams to prepare commercial and technical proposals, cost estimates, and tenders.
• Drive the full sales cycle from cold calls and presentations to contract negotiations and order closure.
• Maintain relationships with existing clients, follow up on deliveries, monitor inventory, and resolve water-chemistry issues.
• Track industry trends, monitor competitor pricing, and report forecasts via CRM or sales trackers.
