Job summary

Raffles Al Areen Palace Bahrain is seeking an experienced In-Room Dining Waiter to provide high-touch, personalized F&B service in a 5-star luxury environment. You will greet guests, present and serve meals, and upsell additional F&B offerings while maintaining strict hygiene and safety standards.

Genuine hospitality, strong knowledge of menu items and wine pairing, and the ability to lift trays and work outdoors in heat are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1-2 years of experience as an In-Room Dining Waiter or F&B Server in a 5-star luxury hotel or resort.
• Excellent English communication skills; additional languages are a plus.
• Ability to lift trays/trolleys and work outdoors in heat.
• Strong knowledge of menu ingredients, wine pairing, and upselling techniques.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide professional, personalized in-room F&B service with attention to detail and timeliness.
• Demonstrate strong knowledge of menu items, ingredients, garnishes, and preparation methods to confidently assist guests with recommendations and inquiries.
• Set up, present, and serve meals according to departmental standards, ensuring proper table settings and portion control.
• Respond to guest inquiries and requests promptly while promoting additional F&B services and upselling opportunities.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of trolleys, workstations, equipment, and storage areas; follow HACCP standards.
• Report guest feedback and follow up as required to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Support other F&B outlets during busy periods as needed; demonstrate flexibility and teamwork.
