Job summary

Accor is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor in Manama to supervise daily activities of room and public area staff, assign schedules, and ensure high standards of cleanliness. You will manage inventory, respond to guest requests, and lead a team to achieve departmental goals in a fast-paced hotel environment.

Ideal candidates have strong leadership, English communication skills, experience with PMS systems, and the ability to work under pressure while maintaining exceptional service.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of Room Attendants, House Attendants, Public Area Attendants.
• Assign daily work schedules, room allocations, and special projects according to occupancy levels and operational requirements.
• Ensure all guest rooms, corridors, public areas, and service areas are cleaned and maintained according to brand standards.
• Ensure proper handling and reporting of Lost & Found items according to hotel procedures.
• Monitor DND (Do Not Disturb) rooms and ensure appropriate follow-up procedures are followed.
• Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests, concerns, and complaints
• Lead, motivate, coach, and support the housekeeping team to achieve departmental objectives. Assist with performance evaluations and development plans
• Control and monitor the usage of cleaning supplies, guest amenities, linen, uniforms, and equipment.
• Assist with monthly inventories of linen, guest supplies, and housekeeping materials
• Monitor stock levels and report shortages promptly
• Ensure housekeeping equipment is maintained and used safely and correctly
• Complete daily inspection reports, discrepancy reports, and shift handovers
