Job summary

Wyndham Hotels and Resorts in Bahrain is seeking a vigilant Pool Lifeguard to ensure guest safety at the pool, enforce rules, and maintain a clean, welcoming area. You will assist swimmers in distress, monitor water quality, and support pool and spa operations while delivering friendly service.

The role requires CPR knowledge, customer service standards, andability to respond calmly in emergencies, with flexibility to support hotel operations as needed.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of CPR and emergency medical procedures.
• Knowledge of customer service standards and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety equipment in pool area is in place and in good condition.
• Patrol pool area and assist swimmers in difficulty.
• Clean the swimming pool daily using pool vacuum and skim the surface.
• Monitor water clarity and report murky conditions to Spa Supervisor.
• Conduct weekly pool tile and grouting checks for algae buildup.
• Remove loose garbage and debris from pool area during shifts.
• Assist pool bar staff by clearing glasses and plates as needed.
• Ensure sun beds, tables and umbrellas are correctly arranged before opening.
• Assist cleaners with furniture and mattress cover cleaning as required.
• Be aware of gym operation and facilities; assist reception duties when requested.
• Provide professional, friendly service to guests and members at all times.
• Be flexible and proactive with colleagues; follow pool fire procedures.
• Carry out supervisor requests promptly and accurately.
