Job summary

Pramac, a Generac Company, is seeking an experienced Production Director to lead and optimize our Bahrain plant, overseeing Production, Supply Chain, Planning and Quality with a strong focus on safety, quality, delivery and cost targets.

The ideal candidate brings 10+ years in OEM manufacturing, proven Lean and CI expertise, and a hands-on leadership style to drive operational excellence through cross-functional collaboration and continuous improvement. Fluent English is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in manufacturing leadership roles.
• Proven experience in OEM manufacturing environments.
• Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, and Operational Excellence programs.
• Strong leadership, communication, and people management skills.
• Fluent English required.
• Strategic mindset with a hands-on operational approach.
• Experience in medium-to-large manufacturing facilities preferred.

We are currently seeking an experienced Production Director to lead and optimize manufacturing operations at our Bahrain facility.

Position Overview

The Production Director will be responsible for overseeing all manufacturing activities within the plant, ensuring operational excellence across Production, Supply Chain, Planning, and Quality functions. The role requires a strong leader with proven experience in complex OEM manufacturing environments, capable of driving efficiency, quality, productivity, and continuous improvement initiatives.
The successful candidate will play a key role in the achievement of business objectives, operational performance, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all plant operations, ensuring safety, quality, delivery, and cost targets are achieved.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
• + 10 years of experience in manufacturing leadership roles.
• Proven experience in OEM manufacturing environments.
• Strong background in Production Management, Supply Chain, Planning, and Quality.
• Experience managing medium-to-large manufacturing facilities.
• Demonstrated success in Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, and Operational Excellence programs.
• Strong leadership, communication, and people management skills.
• Strategic mindset combined with a hands‑on operational approach.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Fluent English required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the power generation, industrial equipment, machinery, metal fabrication, or electromechanical manufacturing sectors.
• Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, and World Class Manufacturing methodologies.
• International and multicultural management experience.
