Job summary

V2X is seeking a Firefighter to participate in life safety and firefighting/rescue operations in Bahrain. Responsibilities include rapid response to calls, apparatus operation, and adherence to NFIRS reporting timelines. The role requires extensive certifications and security clearance, with a schedule that includes Bahraini and U.S. holidays.

The candidate should have 3–5 years with an organized fire department, strong communication skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office for daily reports.

Qualifications

• Education/Certifications: One-year related experience may be substituted for one year of education if degree is required.
• Must possess certifications listed in Qualifications section and be able to reciprocate to DOD.
• Ability to obtain/maintain NACI clearance.
• 3–5 years’ experience with an organized fire department.

Responsibilities

• Provide fire protection services with prompt response to dispatch calls.
• Perform structural, crash, and confined space rescue procedures and participate in training programs.
• Operate fire apparatus and related equipment proficiently.
• Clean, wash, test apparatus, hang hoses and polish vehicles.
• Submit Fire Protection Response reports within required timelines.
• Work on Bahraini and U.S. holidays as required.
• Complete daily reporting and maintain computer skills.
