Job summary

VAM Systems Inc. is seeking an Exchange & Infrastructure Administrator for Bahrain operations. The role covers Exchange upgrades, on-premises server management, and disaster recovery planning to ensure data integrity and business continuity.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of hands-on experience with Exchange Server (2016/2019), Windows Server, Active Directory, and virtualization using VMware vSphere and Hyper-V, plus strong PowerShell scripting skills.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in IT, CS or equivalent.
5+ years hands-on Windows Server and AD experience.
Strong knowledge of SMTP/IMAP/POP3 and mail routing.
Experience with L4-L7 load balancers and DNS split-brain configurations.
VMware vSphere and Hyper-V virtualization administration.
PowerShell scripting for bulk mailbox operations and audits.
Troubleshooting mail delivery failures and data recovery.
SAN/NAS/iSCSI storage experience.

Responsibilities

Install, upgrade and manage Exchange servers (2016/2019) on physical and virtual hosts.
Maintain DAGs and database health, backups, and DR planning.
Manage virtualization using VMware vSphere and Hyper-V.
Align AD schema, replication, GPOs with Exchange.
Plan and deploy CU/SU updates across hosts.
Monitor mail delivery performance and troubleshoot issues.
