Responsibilities

• Prepare and consolidate monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and board reports.
• Oversee intercompany balances and transactions across group entities.
• Coordinate annual budgets and manage internal and external audits to produce audited statements.
• Provide ad-hoc financial reporting and analysis for GCFO decision-making.
• Maintain bank facility schedules, report to banks, and support facility renewals.
• Assist with cash flow forecasting and routine banking transactions.
• Track FX movements and document currency bookings to support GCFO.
• Review insurance coverage terms and quotes for group divisions.
• Ensure timely ERP entries, payroll reconciliations, and supplier payments.
• Oversee fixed asset registers, accruals, VAT support, and monthly reconciliations.

Job Summary

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finance Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all financial activities of the company, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and providing strategic financial guidance to support the growth and success of the organization. The Finance Manager will report directly to the Chief Financial Officer.

Key Responsibilities

Assist the Manager Accounts in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidated financial statements, BOD meeting presentations, and cost-of-capital reports.

Oversee and reconcile intercompany balances and transactions across group entities.

Prepare the annual consolidated budget and manage internal and external audit processes, including drafting audited financial statements.

Provide ad-hoc financial reporting and analysis to support the GCFO's decision-making.

Maintain schedules of bank facilities, prepare comparative analyses for facility renewals, and draft reports for bank meetings.

Assist with cash flow forecasting, routine banking transactions, and info requests from financial institutions.

Track foreign exchange deals, monitor maturity dates, and monitor FX movements to support the GCFO in currency bookings.

Gather insurance coverage requirements across group divisions and review policy terms for gaps or changes.

Source, evaluate, and compare insurer quotations, premiums, exclusions, and coverage limits.

Prepare comparative documentation to support management and Board insurance approvals.

Supervise Financial Analysts and Accountants to ensure accurate ERP entries, payroll control reconciliations, and timely supplier and employee payments.

Oversee fixed asset registers, accrual entries, VAT return support, and bank reconciliations (due by the 2nd working day of the month).

Deliver monthly entity financial statements (by the 4th) and final consolidated reporting (by the 6th) in compliance with IFRS and company policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Professional accounting certification such as ACCA, CPA, CMA, or CFA.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in a finance management role.
• Strong understanding of financial regulations and reporting requirements
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proven experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
• Proficient in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
