Job summary

Calo Inc. is seeking a Finance Business Partner to support strategic decisions with financial insights across product, operations, and marketing in Bahrain.

This role combines analytical rigor with commercial acumen to drive growth and profitability as Calo expands across multiple countries. You will own budgeting, forecasting, scenario analysis, and long-term planning while building scalable reporting and models.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
Professional certifications such as CFA, CMA, ACCA, or CPA are highly desirable.
3-5 years of experience in Finance Business Partnering, FP&A, Management Accounting, Corporate Finance, or related field.
Experience in high-growth, technology, food-tech, e-commerce, retail, or operationally intensive businesses is preferred.

Responsibilities

Partner with Product, Operations, Marketing to provide financial insights and support decisions.
Analyze performance, profitability, metrics, and market trends to identify risks and growth.
Lead monthly performance reviews with actionable recommendations for senior leadership.
Own budgeting, forecasting, long-term planning, and scenario analyses.
Build financial models and business cases for new initiatives and investments.
Develop executive dashboards and KPIs to track business performance.
Drive process improvements via automation in FP&A.
Build automated reporting, dashboards, and AI-powered workflows.
Partner with Data and Engineering to improve data quality and automate processes.
Support ad hoc strategic and financial analyses for leadership.

What You’ll Be Working On

Partner with Product, Operations, Marketing, and other teams to provide financial insights and support strategic decision-making.
Analyze business performance, profitability, operational metrics, and market trends to identify risks and growth opportunities.
Lead monthly performance reviews, delivering actionable recommendations to senior leadership.
Own budgeting, forecasting, long-term planning, and scenario analysis.
Build financial models and business cases to evaluate new initiatives and investments.
Develop executive dashboards and reports that track key business and financial KPIs.
Drive process improvements by identifying automation opportunities across finance and FP&A.
Build and maintain automated reporting, dashboards, and AI‑powered workflows that improve efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.
Partner with Data and Engineering teams to improve data quality and automate recurring financial processes.
Support ad hoc strategic and financial analysis for leadership.

What We’re Looking For

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
Professional certifications such as CFA, CMA, ACCA, or CPA are highly desirable.
3-5 years of experience in Finance Business Partnering, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), Management Accounting, Corporate Finance, or a related field.
Experience in high-growth, technology, food‑tech, e‑commerce, retail, or operationally intensive businesses is preferred.

Knowledge

Strong understanding of financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting processes.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets, including financial modeling and scenario analysis.
Solid understanding of financial statements and key business performance indicators.
Experience with financial modeling techniques and business case development.
Familiarity with business intelligence and reporting tools is considered an advantage.
Strong understanding of commercial drivers, operational metrics, and profitability analysis.
Knowledge of process improvement and financial automation initiatives is preferred.
