Job summary

CALO in Manama invites an experienced Finance Business Partner to join on-site in a full-time capacity. You will partner with Product, Operations, Marketing and cross-functional teams to provide financial insights, profitability analysis, and strategic recommendations to drive growth and support CALO's expansion plans.

The role requires a strong foundation in budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills, with 3–5 years in FP&A or related fields.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or related field.
• CFA, CMA, ACCA, or CPA certifications are highly desirable.
• 3–5 years of experience in Finance Business Partnering, FP&A, or related fields.
• Experience in high-growth tech/food-tech/e-commerce/retail or operationally intensive businesses preferred.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Product, Operations, Marketing, and other teams to provide financial insights and support strategic decision-making.
• Analyze business performance, profitability, operational metrics, and market trends to identify risks and growth opportunities.
• Lead monthly performance reviews, delivering actionable recommendations to senior leadership.
• Own budgeting, forecasting, long-term planning, and scenario analysis.
• Build financial models and business cases to evaluate new initiatives and investments.
• Develop executive dashboards and reports that track key business and financial KPIs.
• Drive process improvements by identifying automation opportunities across finance and FP&A.
• Build and maintain automated reporting, dashboards, and AI-powered workflows that improve efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.
• Partner with Data and Engineering teams to improve data quality and automate recurring financial processes.
• Support ad hoc strategic and financial analysis for leadership.

What We’re Looking For

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.

Professional certifications such as CFA, CMA, ACCA, or CPA are highly desirable.

3-5 years of experience in Finance Business Partnering, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), Management Accounting, Corporate Finance, or a related field.

Experience in high-growth, technology, food-tech, e-commerce, retail, or operationally intensive businesses is preferred.

Knowledge

• Strong understanding of financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting processes.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets, including financial modeling and scenario analysis.
• Solid understanding of financial statements and key business performance indicators.
• Experience with financial modeling techniques and business case development.
• Familiarity with business intelligence and reporting tools is considered an advantage.
• Strong understanding of commercial drivers, operational metrics, and profitability analysis.
• Knowledge of process improvement and financial automation initiatives is preferred.
