Job summary

Alzayani Investments is seeking an Executive Chef to oversee all aspects of culinary operations, including creating and executing menus, managing kitchen staff, and maintaining high-quality standards of food and service across bakery, pastry, and hot-kitchen divisions.

The ideal candidate will have a strong culinary background and exceptional leadership, capable of scaling recipes, leading production planning, food safety, and cost control while driving new opportunities for cloud kitchen or B2B

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of experience as an Executive Chef.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Strong leadership and management skills.
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
• Knowledge of current industry trends and techniques.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
• Strong understanding of food and labor costs and the ability to manage them effectively.

Responsibilities

• Pre-Opening & Facility Setup: partner with cross-functional teams to design layouts, establish workflows, and define equipment/smallware requirements.
• Production Planning & Daily Operations: convert forecasts into daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules and optimize capacity.
• Food Safety, QA & Compliance: design HACCP-based controls and ensure regulatory inspections readiness.
• Cost Control, Yield & Profitability: manage recipe costing and monitor yields to minimize waste and variances.
• Procurement & Inventory Management: set specifications, monitor par levels, and coordinate cold-chain logistics.
• Team Leadership & Talent Development: recruit, train, and mentor staff; build rosters and cross-training.
• Systems, Documentation & Process Improvement: author manuals, track outputs, and drive automation to increase throughput.
• Commercial Growth & Business Expansion: evaluate feasibility for B2B, HORECA, and private-label ventures.
