Job summary

ByteGrid Talent Services seeks an experienced Executive Chef for our upscale restaurant in Dar Kulaib, Bahrain. You will lead the kitchen team, oversee all food preparation, menu planning, and maintain top quality and profitability.

You will develop inventive dishes, manage inventory and sourcing, train staff, ensure cleanliness and safety, and collaborate with management on new concepts and events.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years in an Executive Chef role in a high-end restaurant.
• Proven ability to create innovative dishes while maintaining profitability.
• Strong leadership to train and manage a kitchen team.
• Excellent knowledge of cooking methods, ingredients, equipment.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of food preparation including recipe development, portion control, and presentation.
• Create and update menus to ensure variety and seasonality of offerings.
• Manage inventory levels and ordering of ingredients.
• Train and manage kitchen staff including scheduling and evaluations.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization in the kitchen.
• Comply with all health and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with restaurant management to develop new concepts or events.
