Role Description

The Designer Sales Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Bahrain. This position involves guiding clients through the selection of building materials and design solutions, including tiles, sanitary ware, marble, and interior/exterior finishes, in alignment with project requirements and design concepts. The Specialist will prepare design proposals and layouts, with a focus on interior design and kitchen & bath design, while coordinating closely with the sales and project teams to ensure accurate quotations, orders, and delivery schedules. Daily responsibilities include meeting clients in the showroom, conducting site visits when required, providing product and technical information, and maintaining strong relationships with developers, architects, designers, and contractors. The role also requires staying updated on industry trends, new product lines, and design standards to offer informed recommendations and support the company’s sales targets.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to present design concepts and product solutions clearly to diverse stakeholders.
• Proven customer service skills, including active listening, needs assessment, and follow-through to ensure a positive client experience.
• Practical experience in interior design, with an emphasis on space planning, materials selection, and aesthetic coordination.
• Hands-on knowledge of kitchen & bath design, including layouts, fixtures, fittings, and integration of materials such as tiles and stone.
• Sales skills, including consultative selling, negotiation, and closing, preferably within building materials, interiors, or related industries.
• Ability to collaborate with technical and project teams, interpret drawings and specifications, and provide design-oriented input.
• Proficiency in design and visualization tools (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar) is highly beneficial.
• Relevant diploma or degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Sales, or a related field is preferred.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities, with attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and quotations.
