Qualifications

• Three years of hand pattern making experience in a couture house or atelier.
• Strong flat pattern drafting and draping skills.
• Experience with kaftans, abayas, evening wear or couture.
• Understanding of silk, chiffon and other delicate fabrics' behavior.

Responsibilities

• Draft patterns by hand from designer sketches.
• Drape on the dress form to develop new shapes.
• Make toiles, fit and correct patterns.
