Job summary

AccorHotels Bahrain is seeking a passionate Restaurant Supervisor – Arabic Speaker to lead the team at our Greek / Mediterranean restaurant within Sofitel Bahrain Zallaq Thalassa Sea & Spa. You will oversee service standards, guest engagement, and daily operations to deliver exceptional experiences.

Fluent in Arabic and English, you will coach staff, manage shifts, and ensure hygiene and presentation excellence in a luxury resort setting with 5-star guest service expectations.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar supervisory role within a luxury hotel or high-end restaurant.
• Fluent Arabic and English communication skills.
• Strong leadership and team-management abilities.
• Excellent guest-service and communication skills.
• Passion for food, beverage, and hospitality.
• Strong knowledge of restaurant operations and service standards.
• Ability to work under pressure and lead by example.
• Professional appearance, positive attitude, and excellent interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the daily restaurant operation and ensure smooth service
• Lead, motivate, and support the team during each shift
• Ensure exceptional and personalised guest experiences
• Welcome and engage with guests, particularly Arabic-speaking guests
• Handle guest requests, feedback, and concerns professionally
• Ensure all service, hygiene, and presentation standards are consistently maintained
• Conduct pre-shift briefings and communicate daily priorities to the team
• Support training and coaching of team members
• Assist with staff scheduling, opening and closing procedures, and operational requirements
• Monitor restaurant supplies and assist with stock control
• Work closely with other departments to ensure seamless operations
