Gulf Air in Manama is seeking an Accounts Receivable assistant to support the group and subsidiaries by processing invoices, recording payments, and maintaining accurate receivable records to ensure timely revenue collection. This role involves collaboration with finance teams and adherence to internal controls to maintain data integrity.

You will help with month-end closings, reconciliations, and responding to customer inquiries while maintaining high levels of accuracy and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
• 0-1 year of relevant experience in accounting, finance or customer accounts.
• Strong knowledge of basic accounting principles.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and MS Office.

Responsabilités

• Assist in preparing and issuing customer invoices and statements
• Record customer payments and maintain accurate accounts receivable records
• Support account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies
• Assist in monitoring outstanding balances and following up on overdue payments
• Respond to routine customer inquiries related to invoices and payments
• Prepare and maintain supporting documentation for receipts and other receivable transactions
• Assist with month-end closing activities and receivables reporting
• Maintain accurate filing of financial records and supporting documents
• Ensure compliance with approved financial policies, procedures, and internal controls
• Assist in preparing credit card transactions and settlement reports
• Perform other accounts receivable and administrative duties as assigned
