Gulf Air in Bahrain is seeking an Assistant – Accounts Receivable to support invoice processing, recording customer payments, and maintaining accurate receivable records. You will assist with collections activities and respond to customer inquiries to ensure timely revenue collection.

The role requires 0–1 year in accounting or related fields and a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Strong Excel skills and numerical accuracy are essential.

Qualifications

• 0–1 year of relevant experience in accounting, finance, administration, or customer accounts.

Responsabilités

• Assist in preparing and issuing customer invoices and statements.
• Record customer payments and maintain accurate accounts receivable records.
• Support account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies as directed.
• Monitor outstanding balances and follow up on overdue payments.
• Respond to routine customer inquiries related to invoices, payments, and account balances.
• Prepare and maintain documentation for receipts, credit notes, and other receivable transactions.
• Assist with month-end closing activities and receivables reporting.
• Maintain filing of financial records and supporting documents.
• Ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Assist in preparing credit card transactions and settlement reports.
• Perform other accounts receivable and administrative duties as assigned.
