Job summary

Bahrain Airport Services in Bahrain, Muharraq is seeking a shift-based Airside Operations Supervisor to ensure a safe, compliant and efficient service delivery across all airside activities.

The role involves directing staff, coordinating GSE servicing, maintaining daily reports, and ensuring adherence to procedures to uphold safety, quality, and customer satisfaction in a dynamic airport environment.

Qualifications

• Should hold a college degree (aviation related) or a minimum of high school diploma.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in Airside Operations or aviation related job experience preferably in ground handling services in a major airline.
• Must complete Aviation Operations related courses.
• Comprehensive knowledge in Operations and high customer service standards.
• Good Knowledge of written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Pro-actively manage airside activities on a shift basis to ensure safety and efficiency.
• Direct and supervise assigned personnel and oversee equipment and services to ensure operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
• Plan, coordinate, and manage the delivery of all airside activities and ensure proper servicing of GSE and timely removal of unserviceable units.
• Ensure staff are trained, briefed, and aware of their responsibilities to enhance operational efficiency and compliance.
• Report to seniors, maintain shift reports, and provide credible management reports to track operations and accountability.
• Complete and submit Accident/Incident reports and investigate discrepancies to prevent recurrence.
• Ensure adherence to Bahrain Airport Services and Airport Authority Emergency Orders and disseminate procedures across teams.
• Participate in meetings related to airside activities and support other departments for continuous improvement.
