Job summary

Beond, the world’s first premium leisure airline, is expanding its Bahrain AOC and seeking a Nominated Postholder Safety & Compliance Monitoring (NPSM) based in Manama. The role reports to the Accountable Manager and leads the Safety Management System and independent Compliance Monitoring function.

The successful candidate will oversee adherence to Bahrain ANTR and BCAA guidance, establish manuals, and present data to the SRB while coordinating with the Accountable Manager."

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of relevant work experience, including at least 2 years in the aeronautical industry.
• Thorough knowledge of safety management and compliance monitoring concepts.
• Practical experience with aviation safety standards and audit techniques.
• Ability to establish and manage a Safety Management System and compliance monitoring function.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with Bahrain ANTR and BCAA requirements and monitor corrective actions across the AOC.
• Own and administer the Safety Management System (SMS) and lead hazard identification, risk management, safety assurance and reporting.
• Establish and manage the independent Compliance Monitoring function, plan and conduct audits and inspections, and close findings timely.
• Manage safety performance indicators, safety promotion and reporting to the Accountable Manager.
• Present safety and compliance data to the Safety Review Board and support in chairing it.
• Develop and issue Management System / Safety and Compliance Monitoring manuals and interface with BCAA on safety matters.
