Johnson & Johnson Belgium is seeking a Shift Lead to manage the Environmental Monitoring and Logistics team during weekend shifts on site. You will ensure GMP compliance, safety, and timely execution of the schedule in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires a scientific degree, GMP experience, and Dutch (with English) proficiency, with strong leadership and communication skills for weekend operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a scientific, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, logistics, or related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.
• Experience in GMP-regulated pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or laboratory environments.
• Experience in Environmental Monitoring, Quality Control Logistics, or sample management is a strong asset.
• Demonstrated experience coordinating work and leading colleagues.
• Knowledge of GMP, data integrity, safe working practices, and accurate documentation; knowledge of eLIMS is an asset.
• Strong communication, organisational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound decisions under time pressure.
• Fluency in Dutch and professional proficiency in English, with willingness to work a structural weekend shift in an on-site role.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate daily weekend activities across Environmental Monitoring, Quality Control Logistics and sample management.
• Coach and support team members to promote communication, collaboration, ownership and quality.
• Ensure sample collection, receipt, labeling, storage, and transport follow procedures.
• Oversee Environmental Monitoring activities and ensure documentation is completed on time.
• Act as first operational contact during weekend shift and escalate deviations and safety risks.
• Support deviations, investigations, CAPAs, change controls, audits readiness and action follow-up.
• Identify improvements in safety, compliance, efficiency and digitalisation with clear handover to next shift.
