Job summary

World Courier Belgium s.a. is seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to manage inbound receiving, put-away, and stock replenishment within a compliant and efficient facility. You will lead a team, coordinate with carriers, and ensure accurate inventory using a WMS and standard operating procedures.

The role requires 5+ years in warehousing, a forklift license, and strong communication skills to drive safety and performance. This is a full-time on-site position based in Nossegem, Belgium.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in a warehouse role with supervision experience.
• Experience handling inbound receiving, put-away and replenishment.
• Familiarity with SOPs and pharmaceutical handling requirements.
• Experience with WMS and transport bookings for cold chain orders.
• Current forklift license for counter balance and reach trucks.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate inbound stock receipt with carriers and book arrivals.
• Receive ambient and cold chain products; check for damage.
• Maintain stock locations and perform put-away and replenishment.
• Oversee WMS activities and ensure accuracy of picks and packs.
• Lead, train and motivate warehouse staff; ensure safety SOPs.
• Escalate issues to management and service providers when needed.
• Prepare weekly/monthly statistics and maintain equipment servicing.
• Ensure clean, safe pathways and organized warehouse.
• Coordinate transport bookings for orders and re-fridge transfers.
• Ensure continuous improvement of processes and efficiency.

Job Details

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• 1. Liaise with Inbound Freight companies to book the receipt of inbound stock in an organized manner.
• 2. Receiving Ambient and cold chain product and checking for obvious damages.
• 3. Maintain all stock location numbering, sections;
• 4. Proficient experience in an inventory management system;
• 5. Proficient experience in an inventory management system
• 6. Inbound Receiving and put away Stock replenishment Waving of orders, Pick/Pack, Invoice and consignment
• 7. To lift, maneuver and load various types of products {of various weights) as required and in accordance with manual handling procedures
• 8. To ensure that pathways used for maneuvers are kept clear of any obstructions to ensure the safe and smooth transition of the product
• 9. Stock picking and order completion;
• 10. Comply with World Courier Standard Operating Procedures (SOP};
• 11. To train, retain and motivate staff within a team based management culture.
• 12. Proactively motivate your teams to ensure targets and deadlines are clearly understood and are being achieved and act as an immediate point of reference for problems.
• 13. To communicate and liaise with, and escalat e issues to fellow managers, management and internal and external service providers where necessary.
• 14. To contribute towards the improvement of processes, methods of operating and practices.
• 15. Complete weekly/monthly statistic reports, ensuring all MHE servicing and maintenance is up to date.
• 16. Work Health & Safety oversight of warehouse;
• 17. Maintain clean and organized warehouse .

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

• 1. Minimum 5 years warehouse experience
• 2. Minimum 2 years supervisory experience
• 3. Experience in Receiving/put away, inventory/ replenishment, Pick/ Pack process from waving order to completion, booking of transport for cold chain orders for re- fridge transport.
• 4. Understanding of the sensitivity of handling pharmaceutical products and working with and reviewing Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's}.
• 5. Current forklift license - counter balance and electric reach trucks;
• 6. Experience in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS}

• 5. Sound experience using the Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel and Outlook.

• 8. Strong time management and organizational skills.
• 9. Sound written and verbal communication skills.

• 13. Ability to use initiative.
