Avantor is seeking a Service Coordination & Logistics Specialist to plan, coordinate and monitor interventions by Field Service Engineers in a dynamic Belgian environment. You will manage service requests end-to-end and act as the primary contact for customers, technicians and internal teams.

The role covers logistics and spare parts management, including transportation coordination, inventory control, and SAP-based tracking, along with administration and continuous improvement to boost delivery

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years in administrative, logistics, or technical coordination.
• Experience in service-oriented or technical environments is desirable.
• Knowledge of SAP or similar ERP systems is an advantage.

Responsabilités

• Plan, coordinate, and monitor interventions by Field Service Engineers.
• Manage service requests from quotation through invoicing preparation.
• Serve as the primary contact for customers, technicians, and stakeholders.
• Prioritize urgent interventions and customer requests.
• Identify opportunities to improve service processes and operational efficiency.
• Coordinate transportation of equipment between customer sites, warehouses and workshops.
• Manage deliveries, returns and installation logistics.
• Oversee spare parts inventories and monitor stock levels.
• Register and track material movements in SAP or other ERP systems.
• Ensure proper identification, traceability, and documentation of equipment and spare parts.
• Process orders, transport documentation, and service reports.
• Monitor KPIs related to service performance and inventory management.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on planning, logistics and customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with suppliers to enhance delivery reliability and reduce lead times.

Key Responsibilities

Service Coordination

• Plan, coordinate, and monitor interventions performed by Field Service Engineers.
• Manage service requests from quotation through to invoicing preparation.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, technicians, and internal stakeholders.
• Prioritize urgent interventions and customer requests.
• Identify opportunities to improve service processes and operational efficiency.

Logistics & Spare Parts Management

• Coordinate transportation of equipment between customer sites, warehouses, and workshops.
• Manage deliveries, returns, and installation logistics.
• Oversee spare parts inventories for maintenance and repair activities.
• Conduct inventory checks and monitor critical stock levels.
• Arrange urgent deliveries to support priority service interventions.
• Register and track material movements in SAP or other ERP systems.
• Ensure proper identification, traceability, and documentation of equipment and spare parts.

Administration & Continuous Improvement

• Process orders, transport documentation, and service reports.
• Monitor KPIs related to service performance and inventory management.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on planning, logistics, and customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with suppliers to enhance delivery reliability and reduce lead times.

About You

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in an administrative, logistics, or technical coordination role.
• Experience within a service-oriented or technical environment is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of SAP or similar ERP systems is an advantage.
