Responsibilities

• Contribute to the definition of the Project Verification and Validation strategy in the V&V Plan, and act proactively for its implementation
• Define verification methodology for selected deliverables, when requested from V&V strategy
• Define test plans and test descriptions for in‑house activities. Liaise with PrCOM for exported tests
• Perform and report on allocated verification, integration and test activities
• When Safety is involved, share and justify the results with Safety Assurance Manager to feed safety demonstration
• Interface with experts in other departments to align on selected V&V activity methodology
• Represent the client in front of customers or partners, for instance to provide an overview of test progress, issues, risks and opportunities
• Specify, procure, develop, set up and configure assets such as testbenches and instrumentation
• Provide data to maintain applicable KPIs
• Manage configuration and change management cycle related to V&V activities (simulation configuration, anomaly tracking, etc.)
• Follow‑up with T&C for tests exported to site execution

Qualifications

• Engineering and system background
• At least 2 years in relevant positions (systems / sub‑systems integration, embedded equipment, electrotechnical product development) in a highly complex and normative environment (railway signalling, aerospace, defense, nuclear) would be a major asset
• Good analytical skill is required
• Understanding and experience in Software coding
• skill in V&V in railway and signalling domains
• knowledge in ETCS Trackside level 1, Level2.
• Knowledge in Interlocking principles.
• Easy with tools, IA, Python, C/C++.
