Expleo Group is seeking a software professional to contribute to architecture, development and testing across robust software solutions. You will collaborate with architects to define precise specifications and help shape system design, delivering components in C/C++, C#, or Python.

Responsibilities include building and maintaining the toolchain, rigorous testing, and supporting integration with hardware. Fluent English is required; French is a plus, and experience in regulated industries is

Formación

• Master's degree or engineering degree in IT, CS, Electronics, or related field.
• Up to 15 years of experience in software development.
• Fluent in English (spoken and written). French is a plus.
• Proficient in C++ and/or C#, Python; knowledge of Git, GitLab, and software configuration management.

Responsibilities

Software Specification & Architecture

• Work in collaboration with architects to define clear, robust software specifications.
• Help shape system architecture by participating in design reviews and technical discussions.

Development & Testing

• Develop software components primarily in C/C++, C#, or Python.
• Ensure quality and reliability through rigorous unit testing, integration testing, and validation.
• Set up and maintain the software toolchain and version control using Git/GitLab.

Integration & Support

• Support integration between different software components and between software and hardware systems.
• Collaborate closely with test engineers, hardware designers, and other software teams.

Continuous Improvement & Standardization

• Reuse and enhance existing solutions where possible (including COTS).
• Take part in continuous improvement initiatives, proposing better practices and tooling evolution.

Qualifications

Education

• Master's Degree or Engineering Degree in IT, Computer Science, Electronics, or related field.

Experience

• Up to 15 years of experience in software development.
• Previous experience in a regulated industry (e.g., rail, aerospace, medical, defense, etc.)

Language Skills

• Fluent in English (spoken and written).
• French is a plus.

Technical Skills

• Proficient in C++ and/or C#, Python.
• Knowledge of Git, GitLab, and software configuration management.
• Bonus: familiarity with Docker, network communication protocols, embedded Linux.
