Job summary

The Covenant of Mayors in Sub-Saharan Africa (CoM SSA) initiative supports cities in developing and implementing climate and energy actions, strengthening urban resilience, and facilitating access to climate finance. The intern will support the GIZ CoM SSA team, focusing on country operations management and coordination across partner countries in Cameroon, Ghana, Kenya and Nigeria.

The internship offers practical exposure to managing a multi-country urban climate programme and collaboration

Responsibilities

• Assist in country operations management and cross-country coordination across partner countries (Cameroon, Ghana, Kenya, Nigeria).
• Support operational planning, portfolio monitoring, reporting, knowledge management, and follow-up of project activities.
