Job summary

ClientEarth, Brussels-based environmental NGO, seeks a Senior Programme Officer – African Partnerships to advance forest governance and IPLC rights across West Africa, with focus on Liberia, Côte d’Ivoire and Ghana. You will coordinate programmes, engage partners, and drive MEL activities in partnership with teams and local actors.

Fluent English and French, extensive not-for-profit programme delivery experience, and deep understanding of Sub-Saharan contexts are essential.

Qualifications

• Fluency at CEFR C2 in English.
• Fluency at CEFR C2 in French.
• Experience delivering complex programmes in not-for-profit sector.
• Strong understanding of Sub-Saharan Africa contexts.
• Proven track record maintaining partnerships with diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Partnership Engagement and Collaboration: maintain relationships with partners and support programme delivery.
• Programme and Project Coordination: plan and coordinate delivery in line with objectives and donor requirements.
• Financial Management and Compliance: assist budget planning, monitoring, and reporting across portfolio.
