They operate across international night train routes, combining leadership, hospitality excellence, and real-time operational management.

Job Description

Hospitality Talents –Recruitment Agency is currently looking for an hands-on Train Manager to join the teamof our client in Brussels, but with rail connections across Europe.

Our client is afast-growing hospitality provider specializing in onboard service forinternational passenger rail operations. Their mission is to transform trainjourneys into memorable travel experiences by delivering high-quality,passenger-focused service.

Operating acrossinternational night train routes, they combine operational excellence,multicultural teamwork, and hospitality standards inspired by aviation andpremium travel environments.

To support theircontinued growth, they are currently seeking Train Managers to oversee onboardoperations and lead crew teams.

Role Overview

The Train Manager isresponsible for ensuring the smooth operation of onboard services anddelivering an exceptional passenger experience throughout the journey.

Acting as theoperational leader onboard, you will supervise the crew, coordinate servicedelivery, handle passenger needs, and liaise with railway partners to ensuresafe, efficient, and seamless travel.

This role combinesleadership, hospitality excellence, and real-time operational management in adynamic international environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare crew schedules and conductpre-departure briefings
  
• Assign responsibilities and ensure servicestandards are maintained
  
• Provide guidance, coaching, and active supportduring the journey
  
• Foster teamwork, motivation, and professionalconduct onboard
  
• Deliver clear onboard announcements and travelinformation
  
• Ensure a warm welcome and high-quality servicethroughout the journey
  
• Handle passenger inquiries, feedback, andspecial requests
  
• Resolve issues and manage sensitive situationsprofessionally
  

Operational Coordination

• Liaise with railway operators and servicesuppliers
  
• Manage unexpected situations and ensureoperational continuity
  
• Ensure safety procedures and service protocolsare respected
  
• Report to the back office and complete journeyreports after each trip
  

Requirements

Experience & Requirements

• Relevant experience inhospitality, passenger service, or transport environments
  
• Experience in rail, aviation, cruise, ormobile hospitality operations is highly valued
  
• Based in Belgium or the Netherlands
  
• Willing to travel and stay away from home 2–4nights per rotation
  
• Flexible availability, including nights andweekends
