Tokyo Electron Europe Ltd. – Belgium Branch is seeking a highly qualified researcher to join the Thin Films Unit.

You will design, run, and analyze experiments in ALD, CVD, and related deposition technologies to advance semiconductor processes for logic, memory and emerging devices. Qualifications include a PhD in relevant field (or MSc with substantial industrial semiconductor experience) and 3–5 years of hands-on experience in ALD/CVD.

Qualifications

• PhD in Materials Science, Chemistry, Physics, Electrical Engineering, or related fields, preferably with education or experience related to semiconductors.
• Alternatively MSc in related fields with more than 5 years of industrial experience in semiconductor technologies.
• 3 to 5 years of experimental experience in semiconductor related processes, especially in ALD, CVD and related deposition techniques.
• Demonstrates understanding of semiconductor technology and/or process equipment technology.

Responsabilités

• Design, execute, and analyze experiments to conduct research, development, and optimization of thin film deposition and related technologies.
• Develop novel processes and applications in the areas of logic, memory and emerging semiconductor devices and technologies.
• Establish procedures, equipment configurations and adopt a hands-on approach to sustain and troubleshoot equipment.
• Collaborate with industry partners, research consortia, material suppliers and internal stakeholders to develop leading edge thin film processes and products for TEL.
• Identify potential intellectual property opportunities and ensure timely disclosures to build and maintain a strong patent portfolio.
• Domestic and international travel, as necessary for internal and external meetings.
