Tokyo Electron Europe Ltd. - Belgium Branch is seeking a PhD-qualified researcher to join the Thin Films Business Unit. You will conduct research and development on ALD, CVD, and PVD processes for semiconductor technologies, collaborating with TEL engineers and external partners.

The role emphasizes hands-on experimentation, process optimization, and sustaining equipment. You will work with industry partners and contribute to patentable process innovations while traveling for meetings.

Qualifications

• PhD required in material science, chemistry, physics, electrical engineering, or related fields.

Responsabilités

• Design, execute, and analyze experiments to develop thin film deposition processes.

• Develop novel processes in logic, memory and emerging semiconductor devices.

• Establish procedures and equipment configurations; hands-on to sustain and troubleshoot.

• Collaborate with industry partners to develop leading-edge thin film processes and products.

• Identify potential IP opportunities and ensure timely disclosures for patent portfolio.
