Job summary

SMCP seeks a Store Manager (Temporary) for a premium/luxury retail store in Belgium. You will lead daily operations, drive sales, manage staff performance, and ensure impeccable customer service, visual standards, and policy compliance.

You’ll train and develop the team, oversee payroll, and collaborate with HR on people issues. The role requires 3+ years in luxury retail management, a commercial mindset, adaptability to customers, and Dutch language proficiency.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of management experience in premium/luxury retail.
• Adaptability to customers and business needs; commercial mindset; able to supervise and motivate a team.
• Dutch language required

Responsibilities

• Meet personal and store sales targets.
• Assist in tracking, monitoring, and communication of business results.
• Develop personal and associates’ sales techniques to maximize sales.
• Ensure all Policies & Procedures are compliant.
• Support the store in minimising stock loss by following loss prevention policies.
• Resolve client problems and complaints quickly and effectively.
• Assist sales associates with customer service issues (returns, defective merchandise).
• Assist in implementing and maintaining merchandising/visual directives.
• Ensure the sales floor is organized and reflects the correct visual image.
• Recruit, train and develop staff.
• Ensure payroll integrity and payroll process.
• Evaluate performance of each employee and provide feedback to ensure results.
• Resolve HR issues in a timely and effective manner with HR partnering
