E.ON Power Plants Belgium BV (EPPB) is seeking a Technical Project Manager Energy Generation to lead and deliver large-scale on-site energy projects in Belgium, operating within a DBOO framework. This role interfaces with clients, contractors, suppliers, and internal teams, coordinating engineering, procurement, and construction activities.

The ideal candidate holds a Master’s in engineering, has senior PM experience in energy or industrial infra, and possesses PMP/IPMA/PRINCE2 credentials.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Energy Engineering or related technical field.
• Senior-level experience in technical project management within energy, power generation, or industrial infrastructure.
• Proven track record delivering large-scale energy generation projects (EPC and/or multi-lot).
• PM certification (PMP, IPMA, PRINCE2) is an advantage.
• Experience with permitting processes in Belgium and/or the Netherlands is a strong advantage.
• Fluent in Dutch (C2) and English (C1); additional languages a plus.
• Willingness to travel with on-site presence depending on project phase.

Responsabilités

• Lead and manage the successful delivery of large-scale on-site energy generation projects, including planning, engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and start-up.
• Act as the primary technical project interface between clients, contractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders in DBOO projects.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering teams and manage interfaces with project development, commercial, procurement, and legal functions.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, resources, risks, and change control processes.
• Ensure compliance with applicable industry standards, regulations, environmental requirements, and HSE policies.
• Review and approve technical specifications, engineering deliverables, and contractor documentation through handover to Operations & Maintenance.
• Monitor project performance and implement corrective actions where necessary.
• Lead project meetings, progress reviews, and stakeholder communications.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Energy Engineering, or a related technical discipline
• Senior-level experience in technical project management within the energy, power generation, or industrial infrastructure sector
• Proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale energy generation projects with strong knowledge in EPC and/or multi-lot project execution
• Project Management certification (PMP, IPMA, PRINCE2, or equivalent) is an advantage
• Experience with permitting processes in Belgium and/or the Netherlands is a strong advantage
• Fluent in Dutch (C2) and English (C1); additional language skills are a plus
• Willingness to travel with on-site presence depending on project phase
