E.ON Power Plants Belgium BVBA is recruiting for an Operations & Maintenance Service Engineer based in Mechelen. You will supervise on-site power/heat plants, advise clients, and manage maintenance work with instrumentation and control know-how.

Fluency in Dutch (C2) and English (C1) is required, with agile collaboration in a hybrid setup across Belgium and the Netherlands. A higher technical degree and project management skills boost your profile.

Qualificações

• Higher technical degree or similar qualification with experience in operation and maintenance of technical installations preferably in power generation and utilities.
• Project management skills with good knowledge of process technology and automation.
• Collaborating with empathy and inclusivity in a multidisciplinary team with interest in process and technical topics.
• Fluent in Dutch (C2) and business fluent in English (C1).

• Work clearance management and supervision of maintenance activities with knowledge of instrumentation & control.
• Ensuring compliance with HSE standards and prioritising safety.
• Analysis of plant-related issues with implementation of the proper solution.
• Identification of optimization measures and negotiation of customer and supplier agreements.
• Troubleshooting and implementation of measures during unplanned downtimes.
• Participation in an on-call service and preparation of incident reports.

Your Responsibilities

• Participation in an on-call service and preparation of incident reports

Your Qualifications

• Higher technical degree or similar qualification with experience in the operation and maintenance of technical installations preferably in power generation and utilities
• Project management skills with good knowledge of process technology and automation
• Collaborating with empathy and inclusivity in a multidisciplinary team with interest in process and technical topics
• Fluent in Dutch (C2) and business fluent in English (C1), other language skills are a plus
• Stress resistant and consistently responsive with good communication and social skills
• Dynamic, independent and flexible person with a strong sense of responsibility
• Flexible mobility across Belgium and the Netherlands, typically spending three days on-site and two days in the office
