E.ON Power Plants Belgium BV (EPPB) in Belgium seeks an experienced operations supervisor to oversee on-site power and heat generation plants and to guide clients in exploiting our installations.

You will ensure maintenance within HSE standards, coordinate instrumentation and control, analyze plant issues, and participate in on-call duties, with mobility across Belgium and the Netherlands.

Qualifications

• Higher technical degree or similar with experience in operation and maintenance of technical installations.
• Strong project management, process technology and automation knowledge.
• Team-oriented with empathy and inclusivity in multidisciplinary settings.
• Fluent Dutch (C2) and business English (C1); other languages a plus.
• Flexible mobility across Belgium and the Netherlands; 3 on-site, 2 in the office.

Responsabilités

• Operation supervision & maintenance of on-site power/heat generation plants
• Guidance, advice and assistance to our clients with the exploitation of our plants
• Work clearance management and supervision of maintenance activities with knowledge of instrumentation & control
• Ensuring compliance with HSE standards and prioritising safety
• Analysis of plant-related issues (defects, incidents) with implementation of the proper solution
• Identification of optimisation measures and negotiation of customer and supplier agreements
• Troubleshooting and implementation of measures during unplanned downtimes, acting independently within the defined operational framework
• Participation in an on-call service and preparation of incident reports

Your Qualifications

• Higher technical degree or similar qualification with experience in the operation and maintenance of technical installations preferably in power generation and utilities
• Project management skills with good knowledge of process technology and automation
• Collaborating with empathy and inclusivity in a multidisciplinary team with interest in process and technical topics
• Fluent in Dutch (C2) and business fluent in English (C1), other language skills are a plus
• Stress resistant and consistently responsive with good communication and social skills
• Dynamic, independent and flexible person with a strong sense of responsibility
• Flexible mobility across Belgium and the Netherlands, typically spending three days on-site and two days in the office
