E.ON Power Plants Belgium BVBA is seeking a Technical Project Manager Energy Generation to lead large-scale on-site energy projects in Mechelen. You will coordinate engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning, interfacing with clients, contractors and internal teams.

The role requires a senior PM background in energy or industrial infra, plus Dutch and English fluency, PMP/PRINCE2 or equivalent, and willingness to travel on-site across phases.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Energy Engineering or related technical discipline.
• Senior-level experience in technical project management in energy/power generation/industrial infra.
• PM certification (PMP/IPMA/PRINCE2) is advantageous.
• Experience with permitting in Belgium/Netherlands is advantageous.
• Fluent Dutch (C2) and English (C1).
• Willingness to travel with on-site presence as needed.

Responsabilités

• Lead and manage delivery of large-scale on-site energy generation projects (planning, engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning).
• Act as primary technical interface between clients, contractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders in DBOO projects.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering teams and interfaces with project development, commercial, procurement, and legal functions.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, resources, risks, and change control processes.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, environmental requirements, and HSE policies.
• Review and approve technical specifications, engineering deliverables, and contractor documentation through to handover to Operations & Maintenance.
• Monitor project performance and implement corrective actions; Lead meetings and stakeholder communications.
