Job summary

BESIX Group in Belgium is seeking a Technical Manager - Energy Storage and PV Generation to drive the technical review, planning, engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning and startup of PV and BESS projects.

You will collaborate with clients, contractors and internal teams, ensure compliance with standards, and travel within Europe as needed. Fluent English required; French/Dutch a plus. Joining BESIX Power offers a dynamic, multidisciplinary environment with career development.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or master’s in electrical engineering, renewable energy or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in project management for energy storage or PV projects.
• In-depth knowledge of PV and BESS technologies, grid architectures and power converters.
• Knowledge of current regulations and standards in energy storage.
• Proven track record delivering small to medium energy projects with EPC or multi‑lot execution.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to influence stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• You play a central role in technical review, planning, engineering, procurement, construction and startup of PV and BESS projects.
• You oversee analysis of specifications and feasibility studies for PV and BESS projects.
• You recommend sizing of storage systems and PV plans and integration into grids.
• You serve as the primary technical interface between clients, contractors, suppliers and internal teams in DBOO projects.
• You collect capex/opex estimates to assist project development decisions.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and HSE policies.
