TMC Belgium is seeking a Technical Buyer to enhance maintenance-related purchasing and improve collaboration between Procurement and the technical organisation. You will operate in a practical, hands-on environment and work closely with technical stakeholders across the business.

Key responsibilities include coordinating purchasing across multiple sites, analyzing suppliers, negotiating terms, and implementing consistent procurement processes to reduce costs while preserving service quality.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of procurement experience.
• Strong technical affinity and ability to understand maintenance requirements.
• Fluent in Dutch and English.

• Negotiate pricing, terms and agreements with suppliers of technical goods/services.

• Coordinate purchasing activities related to maintenance across multiple production sites.
• Analyse the current supplier landscape and identify opportunities for consolidation and improved supplier management.
• Negotiate pricing, commercial terms and agreements with suppliers of technical goods and services.
• Develop and implement more consistent procurement processes for maintenance-related spend.
• Identify opportunities to reduce total maintenance costs while maintaining operational continuity and service quality.

What we expect from you:

• 5+ years of procurement experience, preferably in technical or maintenance purchasing within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong technical affinity and the ability to understand maintenance requirements and technical specifications.
• Fluent in Dutch AND English
