USG Professionals Belgium is seeking a Technical Analyst to bridge business needs with technology and help modernise our IT landscape. You will work across business, functional teams and developers to translate requirements into robust technical solutions.

In a landscape moving from legacy COBOL/BizTalk towards .NET and Azure, you will analyse document flows, integrations and APIs, contribute to technical direction and produce clear documentation for the team.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience as Technical Analyst or similar role.
• Experience with document generation, processing or archiving is a plus.
• French or Dutch language skills are a plus.

Responsabilités

Are you a Technical Analyst who enjoys understanding complex environments, connecting business needs with technology, and helping organisations modernise their IT landscape?

We are looking for an experienced Technical Analyst to join a transversal team working on high-volume document generation, processing, integration and archiving solutions.

You will act as the bridge between business, functional teams, solution architects and developers. Your role is to transform functional requirements into clear and robust technical solutions while keeping a strong end-to-end view of the environment.

You will work in a technically challenging landscape where legacy technologies are progressively evolving towards modern .NET and Azure-based services.

What you will do

• Analyse and translate functional requirements into technical solutions
• Understand complex end-to-end document flows, from generation to manipulation, conversion and archiving
• Analyse integrations between internal systems, suppliers and external services
• Define and document APIs, interfaces, data flows and quality checks
• Challenge and validate technical solutions with developers and architects
• Participate in peer reviews and technical direction
• Produce clear technical documentation and maintain an overview of the architecture and dependencies
• Contribute ideas for modernising existing systems and introducing new technologies
• Explore innovative possibilities, including support for new document formats, multimedia and AI-driven solutions
• Act as a trusted technical sparring partner for business and IT stakeholders

The environment is evolving from traditional technologies such as COBOL and BizTalk towards a modern architecture based on:

• REST APIs & integrations
• Cloud-based services
• Document generation, processing and archiving

You will not be expected to develop full-time. The focus is on technical analysis, solution design, documentation and translating requirements into actionable solutions for development teams.

Who are we looking for?

• Around 6+ years of experience as a Technical Analyst, Solution Analyst or similar role
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Solid experience with .NET and Azure
• Comfortable working in complex integration environments
• Strong understanding of APIs, services, data flows and system dependencies
• Able to understand both business requirements and technical constraints
• Excellent documentation skills and a genuine end-to-end mindset
• Comfortable communicating with both business and technical stakeholders
• Experience in a document management, document generation or archiving environment is a strong plus
• Knowledge of legacy environments such as COBOL/BizTalk is an advantage
• French or Dutch is a plus
