Daikin Europe is seeking a Software Engineer / Analyst to develop deep technical knowledge of our solutions. You will translate business requirements into clear technical guidance and oversee external partner development, ensuring deliveries meet specifications and timelines.

You will focus on IoT, app/web development, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) while collaborating across teams to drive consensus and continuous improvement. A hybrid work setup is offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT or Electronics.
• 5+ years in a software development environment.
• Strong knowledge of at least one major cloud platform: AWS or Azure.
• Experience with Python and deploying cloud environments.
• Interest or track record in IoT, M2M, or App/Web development.
• Strong collaborator able to think conceptually and drive consensus among stakeholders.

Responsabilités

• Translate requirements into technical specs and ensure correct delivery with partners.
• You will not be coding; you will oversee development activities to deliver according to the requirements.
• Formulate software and UI specifications based on captured business requirements.
• Take ownership of development tracks with software suppliers.
• Prioritize and manage developments with the platform owner.
• Assist the team with 3rd line support.
• Follow tech evolutions and propose integration into developments.

As a Software Engineer / Analystyou will acquiredeep technical knowledgeof the solutions we are building. Together with agood understanding of the business requirements.

How does your day look like

• You are interested in IoT and app/web development
• You are the technical expert who translates the requirements correctly towards our external partners
• You will not be coding, you will oversee the development activitities to deliver according the requirements
• You formulate software and user interface specifications with the requirements you captured for the business, architects, security, ...
• You take ownership of your development tracks at our software suppliers
• You prioritize and follow-up the developments with the "platformowner"
• You assist the team with 3rd line support
• You follow technological evolutions within your field of expertise and formulate proposals to include them in our developments

The talent you bring

• You possess a relevant Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT or Electronics.
• You havemore than 5 years of experience within a software development environment.
• You have very good knowledge of and experience with at least one major cloud platform:AWS or Azure.
• You have experience withPython and deploying cloud environments.
• You have a strong interest or proven track record in subjects like:Internet of Things (IoT), Machine-to-Machine (M2M) communication, or App/Web development.
• You are astrong collaborator who is driven to find solutions for technical requirements and are capable of thinking on a conceptual level.
• You strive forconsensus between all project stakeholders.
