The .NET Analyst Developer is a hybrid profile combining strong Domain-Driven Design (DDD) knowledge with solid software development skills.
The role supports a modern domain-layer initiative by acting both as a developer and technical analyst, translating architecture into detailed analysis documents, user stories, technical specifications and production-ready code.
A key objective of the role is to strengthen domain-driven thinking within the team while collaborating with analysts, architects, developers and legacy-system experts.
Analyst – approximately 50%
Translate high-level architecture and domain models defined by the Solution Architect into detailed analysis documents, user stories, acceptance criteria and technical specifications.
Apply DDD principles to break down functional requirements into:
Support the team in adopting domain-driven thinking and domain-analysis methodologies, helping transition from traditional analysis approaches toward DDD-aligned analysis.
Work closely with legacy-system and COBOL experts to understand existing system behaviour and identify the refactoring or extension requirements necessary to support the new domain model.
Convert architectural decisions and business requirements into actionable technical requirements that guide both modern .NET development and required legacy-system changes.
Developer – approximately 50%
Design and implement modern .NET components aligned with DDD principles and established architectural standards.
Translate predefined API contracts designed by architects into clean, maintainable .NET code reflecting the underlying domain model.
Design and implement:

Maintain high standards for software design, maintainability, testing and adherence to established architectural patterns.
Deliver complete features from requirements analysis through implementation and production deployment, including integration testing and coordination with legacy systems.
