eXalt is seeking a Technical / Solution Analyst Medior in Brussels, offering a hybrid work model. This role focuses on technical feasibility, mapping legacy systems, and guiding modernization across enterprise architectures in Banking, Energy, Transport, and Public sectors.
The candidate will design integration strategies, document interfaces (REST/SOAP), and lead Dev teams through secure, scalable migrations with a strong emphasis on SQL data auditing and UML modeling.

Join a major digital transformation and Cloud migration program within our strategic clients (Banking, Energy, Transport, or Public sector). As a Technical Analyst, you are the architect of technical feasibility. You don't just gather requirements; you deep dive into the stack of existing applications, define integration strategies, and guide development teams through the modernization of complex enterprise architectures.
Audit & Technical Mapping: Analyze legacy codebases, data structures, and system dependencies to create an accurate technical inventory.
Migration & Modernization Strategy: Define the technical trajectory (Rehosting, Refactoring, or Replatforming) for moving applications to Cloud environments (Azure/AWS/GCP).
API & Integration Design: Design and document interfaces (REST/SOAP) and data flows using OpenAPI/Swagger.
Technical Modeling: Translate functional needs into detailed technical specifications, including sequence diagrams, data flow maps, and architectural schemas (UML).
Dev Steering: Guide development teams during implementation, ensuring technical choices align with the defined strategy and security/performance standards.
Data Analysis: Perform Source-to-Target mapping and ensure data consistency during migrations using advanced SQL.
Quality & Observability: Utilize code analysis tools and monitoring solutions to ensure the robustness and scalability of new systems.

Minimum 4 years of experience in a technical role such as Technical Analyst, Solution Analyst, or as a Developer looking to transition into analysis and architecture. Integration Expertise: Advanced mastery of API concepts (REST, SOAP, JSON, asynchronous systems/Kafka). Data Skills: Strong proficiency in SQL for auditing and data manipulation. Modeling: Ability to structure complex systems using UML or BPMN with tools like Lucidchart, Visio, or Enterprise Architect. Cloud & DevOps Culture: Experience in migration projects to Azure or AWS is a major asset, as is familiarity with Docker/Kubernetes concepts. Analytical Mindset: Proven ability to "read" software architecture, identifying technical debt and potential bottlenecks. Languages: Fluent in English and professional proficiency in French and/or Dutch.
