Job summary

SmartSD is a Belgian-based security systems distributor seeking a technically experienced advisor for fire and intrusion systems. This full-time role involves guiding customers through complex issues, providing on-site support, and assisting Sales Managers with technical questions.

You will deliver presentations to installation engineers and share market insights, with fluency in Dutch and French required to serve a diverse customer base.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a technical environment, focused on security systems.
• Technical knowledge of security systems and network environments.
• Excellent Dutch and French verbal and written communication.

Tasks and Responsibilities

In this varied and independent role, you will be responsible for advising, supporting, and sharing information with customers in the fields of fire detection and intrusion security. Your responsibilities will include:

• Advising, supporting, and guiding customers through technical issues, including over the phone.
• Providing on-site project support and guidance.
• Supporting Sales Managers with customers’ technical questions.
• Delivering presentations and training sessions to groups of installation engineers.
• Sharing information and knowledge about new developments and trends in the market.

• You have extensive and proven experience in a technical environment, with a focus on security systems.
• You have technical knowledge of security systems and network environments.
• You have excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Dutch and French.
• You are customer-focused and quality-driven, with strong empathy and the ability to understand customer needs and provide the right solutions.
