A leading IT security company located in Zaventem is seeking a consultant to design and implement security solutions for its clients. The ideal candidate must possess solid knowledge of Ethernet and network protocols, as well as experience in perimeter security systems. Qualifications

• Solid experience in network protocols such as TCP/IP and core services (DHCP, IPAM, DNS).
• Solid background in perimeter security and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
• Experience with content security solutions and Identity Management technologies.
• Knowledge of Unified Threat Management and SIEM.

JOB SUMMARY

You will work as part of a team of consultants based in Zaventem and will work for customers who are mainly based in Belgium. Occasional travels abroad could be required depending on the ongoing projects. The scope of the job will include, but will not be limited to the design, the implementation and the support of Security based solutions.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Discover and test new solutions, components or features
• Participate in trainings and obtain the required certifications
• Build architectures and designs based on customers’ requirements
• Perform audits and suggest improvements
• Provide technical product presentations and demonstrations
• Elaborate, implement and maintain customized solutions to meet customers’ needs
• Provide pre-sales technical support
• Keep up to date on new technologies, standards and evolutions
• Resolve incidents and problems raised by the customer and escape to providers if needed
• Participate in projects and coordinate activities
• Document customers’ infrastructures and implementation details

Required

• Solid working knowledge of Ethernet and network protocols such as TCP/IP, as well as the network core services (DHCP, IPAM, DNS)
• Solid experience in perimeter security (firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, Network Access Control, penetration testing)
• High experience in content security (anti-malware, web security software/appliances, URL filtering, content inspection)
• Strong skills on Identity Management technologies
• Knowledge of security management solutions (Unified Threat Management, SIEM, audit)
• Experience in Security governance and regulations

Desirable

Experience with Checkpoint, F5, Okta
