Imec, a premier nanotechnology research center, seeks a researcher to develop system-level power, thermal and energy-efficiency models for future heterogeneous computing systems built on advanced CMOS technologies. You will create modelling frameworks spanning devices to complete systems and study DTCO/STCO collaboration with device, circuit and architectural researchers.

Qualifications

  • PhD in Electrical/Computer Engineering or related field.
  • Experience with power, thermal, or energy-efficiency modelling.
  • Strong understanding of computer architecture and heterogeneous systems.
  • Experience developing simulation frameworks and research software.
  • Proficient in scientific programming and data analysis.
  • Collaborative with documented version control practices.

Responsabilités

  • Develop system-level power, thermal and energy-efficiency models for future heterogeneous computing systems.
  • Create modelling frameworks for cross-level interactions from devices to full systems.
  • Build DTCO/STCO study flows and predictive models for technology options.
  • Present research results to industrial partners and contribute to publications.
