Vinci is seeking a senior technical leader to drive thermal and thermo-mechanical simulation for advanced semiconductor packaging at IMEC in Leuven, Belgium. You will validate designs on Vinci’s platform, influence product direction, and collaborate with IMEC engineers to showcase measurable design improvements.

Leveraging 15+ years in thermal management and mechanical reliability, you will guide analyses, mentor teams, and engage with customers across Europe while traveling as needed.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related engineering field.
• 15+ years of hands-on thermal management, mechanical warpage, stress and reliability with industry software.
• Scripting experience using Python or C++.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Prior managerial or leadership experience.
• Prior experience in customer-facing roles.
• Strong problem-solving mindset and ability to quickly learn new tools and workflows.
• Ability to communicate complex results clearly to a mixed audience (technical + business).

Responsabilités

• Serve as the senior technical authority on thermal and thermo-mechanical simulation at IMEC, defining methods and mentoring engineers.
• Drive engagement with IMEC’s engineering teams; own simulation setup and interpretation of results.
• Partner with the sales team to deliver demonstrations and lead technical discussions across Europe.
• Identify pain points and workflow gaps; translate into product improvements with Product/Engineering.
• Deliver technical training sessions and workshops to enable Vinci adoption.
• Represent Vinci at industry conferences and events with live demos and results.
• Maintain awareness of competitive tools and market positioning, articulating differentiators.
