Job summary

Roche Diagnostics is seeking a Medical Affairs Manager in Belgium to act as a strategic catalyst shaping medical strategy and accelerating adoption of high-value diagnostics to impact patient lives. You will work across commercial, access, and marketing partners to drive evidence generation and cardiovascular, oncology, or other disease-area strategies.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher in a medical, scientific, or life sciences discipline (PhD/ PharmD/ MD asset).
• Proven experience in Medical Affairs or strategic medical role with disease-area strategy or evidence-generation roadmaps.
• Solid understanding of clinical practice, patient journeys, and healthcare ecosystem.
• Hands-on experience facilitating clinical studies or research collaborations, and scientific communications with multidisciplinary teams.
• Growth mindset and strong stakeholder management to influence and drive cross-functional collaboration.
• Articulate communicator in English, Dutch, and French within Belgian healthcare landscape.

Responsibilities

• Define and own medical strategy for assigned disease areas, aligning affiliate initiatives and resources for patient benefit.
• Assess early-stage medical and diagnostic innovations to overcome barriers and address unmet healthcare needs.
• Spearhead clinical studies and real-world evidence initiatives with Key Opinion Leaders to fill gaps and shape guidelines.
• Translate scientific data into strategic actions and guide cross-functional dialogue.
• Partner with laboratory networks and healthcare systems to elevate standard of care.
• Cultivate trusted scientific partnerships with healthcare leaders, chair advisory boards, and educational programs.
• Collaborate with a high-autonomy, accountable, agile team.
